FAQs

How long will it take you to repair my bike?

We aim to repair your bike at the time you've booked your service. Our services page has approximate times listed for different repairs. Some jobs take more or less time depending on what work is required. For repairs where parts need to be ordered, we aim to have your bike back to you in 1 - 7 days.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept, EFPOS (VISA, Mastercard, America Express) Direct Debit, Pay ID, Cash. Payment is taken upon completion of work.

Do you fit parts I've bought elsewhere?

Yes. The Bike Van will fit any new genuine parts purchased online or from bike shops. We won't fit any parts that we deem unsafe or are not meant to interface with each other.

Do you charge a call out fee?

We charge a small call out fee for various locations in southern Tasmania. See the map found on 'Services' page. We do require a minimum spend of $70 to make trips economical. For locations outside our service area, call us to discuss pricing.

Do you do group discounts?

Yes. For hire fleets, school bikes and group services. Call us to discuss pricing.

Yes. Our regular service times are 8am - 6pm. We can service your bike at another time that suits you. Call us to discuss.

Do you fix Scooters/Wheelchairs/Prams

Can you fix exersise / spin bikes?

Yes, we can most likely repair or service items such as scooters/electric scooters. Prams & trailers as well as wheelchairs.

Yes we can (and have) fixed a variety of stationary bikes. Home exersise bikes, gym bikes & spin bikes. We can also setup your regular bike on a indoor trainer.
